From here it is a gentle walk to the shore where there is level land to play and lots of room to sit and watch the children splash in the shallow entry. Part way to to the dock there is a large fire pit where you can make your evening Smores and tell stories of the day. From the cottage to the waterfront there is a gentle slope. There is plenty of room for level parking and easy access into the cottage from the driveway. Grandview Lake is a small land locked lake that is great for canoeing and kayaking or sitting on the dock with your book and a coffee! For those who enjoy fishing, the lake has been stocked in the past with brook trout and lake trout and you can also find bass.
